Alana De La Garza, a stunning actress who has made a lasting impression in the film industry. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. She was in Orlando for a range of roles including local independent films and international commercials. Her passion for acting quickly grew to perform, despite tiny parts. She relocated in New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap opera All My Children. Through the first half of the decade She appeared on small roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The character she's most famous for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character of her Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio Caine's wife. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's mildly darker drama Do No Harm. The show was canceled after only two episodes.
